Hi,

Im using cognos 11.1.2.

Is there a way to color the columns or bars in different colors in a chart depending on the value? Like conditional formatting in lists and crosstabs?

I haven't experimented in 11, but that sounds like a custom palette in the chart (at least that's what it used to be in 10 :) )

Yes, if you select the series in the chart, there should be an option for Conditional Palette under Color & Background. Works just like conditional formatting.

Thanks for the answers, but unfortunately I can't find "series" nor the custom pallet, in the visualization(11.1) in older visualizations I can find both.. Could you please post a picture?

It's an option in the charts, but I don't believe it can be done in the visualizations (new or legacy).
