Title: How do I get the second page not to print when there is no data displayed?
Post by: JoelR on 24 Jan 2008 07:58:07 AM
If I have 2 pages in a report and the second page only conditionally displays data.  How do I get the second page not to print when there is no data displayed?  Thanks!

You can set the 2nd page to render only when there is data.
It may be little tricky to do that but look for threads here or ittoolbox and you'll get some ideas.

What do you mean by "You can set the 2nd page to render only when there is data."  Are you saying that there is a procedure to do that or that I should find an answer through looking through threads?  If there is a procedure then what is the procedure?  Thanks

I think a little of both... by looking through the threads you should be able to find out how to conditionally suppress report objects like lists, but I think you'll need to use a conditional layout rather than conditional blocks or formatting to suppress a page, at least that's the only way I know of doing it in ReportNet.
