Hi all,

Currently we are doing daily cognos status manually and we have to send staus report to business every 3 hours .

we will perfrom more than 25 steps to make sure the environment up and running and function are working properly or not.

Its there way we can automate this instead of doing manually, becasue every day we are spending more than 2 hours for this.

Please let me know if any one automate this?

I'll go out on a limb here and say, "Yes." It's a computer. It will do what you tell it to.

It would be nice to know what you mean, though. What are the 25+ checks you are making?

Hi dougp,

This is like System readiness testing whenever we do the reboot after that we make sure the cognos env up and fuction are working fine or not.

For that we have created around 25 steps which will cover all the function testing like schedule, report execution status for some of the critical application and mobile related testing ext.....
