Hi,
IBM have stopped releasing fix lists, and they now also appear to have disabled the ability to search the support site for "Upgrade to IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.2" to get hits back on the fixes. I think Paul was keeping his own fix lists based on these kinds of searches, but I'm guessing he's not able to do this any more (unless he found a new, secret way) :)

Hi,
Well, I'll share my own experience with CA11.1.2 here:
As far as I could test, it seems to be a very buggy release, here some topics :
- Configured output reports formats are ignored, reports, reports views configured to execute as PDF, or Excel are always executed as HTML
- After the installation of the new release my PowerPlay Server v11 is unreacheable, I reinstall my PPES but it is still unreachable
- Sometimes the objects properties don't show, you have to clean all the browser history to make them appear
- Some extensions I've created in v11.1.1 not work anymore. ex: I used a JSON to hide all the QuickStart menu but it doesn't work anymore
I open some PMRs with IBM but as like this is not our production systeme they don't consider this as a priority :o >:(

Hello,
These are the issues I came across and have PMR's open with IBM
• Configured output reports formats are ignored, reports, reports views configured to execute as PDF, or Excel are always executed as HTML
• Unable to restrict Framework Manager package level access on Exploration. Its either Exploration will use all the packages or none.
Ex: I have Framework Manager package A and Package B published to my cognos connection.
When user 1 is using exploration, this user should be able to use only package A to serve the purpose (right now user 1 is able to see/use both package A and package B)
When user 2 is using exploration, this user should be able to use only package B to serve the purpose
Thanks!!!

Is anyone experiencing issues querying SYNONYMs on any database? Using JDBC
Yes, I've had issues using Oracle synonyms and I think it's related to this PMR

The biggest problem was that they weren't updating the fixes with the fact they were fixed. But it looks like they did at the beginning of June - I didn't even notice. The lack of exact phrase searching is a problem, but nothing I can't hack my way through.
