Title: Start page changed when upgrading from 11.0.9 to 11.1
Post by: oscarca on 26 Mar 2019 04:53:09 AM
Hello Cognoise,

When I upgraded Cognos from 11.0.9 to 11.1 the background image of the start page got cut off i.e half the background is white. Has anyone else faced this issue ?

Best regards,
Oscar

Hi,

Have you cleared your browser cache since the upgrade? This would be the first thing to try.
Also, did you check the install logs to see if any errors were recorded?

Cheers!

MF.

I have cleared the cache and I don't find anything wrong in the install logs...

Thanks MFGF

I don't have access to a CA instance currently. I'm hoping that will change very soon :)

Hey MFGF,

Have you upgraded yet ?
or has anyone else encountered this issue ?

***Solved***

The only solution I found for this, was to create a fresh content store and reinstall Cognos analytics. IBM support told me after trying a bunch of fix packs, that the CS was most likely corrupt after the migration.
