Title: Cognos 11 Trigger Report through cmd
Post by: zgeorge on 14 Feb 2019 09:26:14 AM
Cognos masters,

I am attempting to schedule a report to run when our ETL jobs have finished running (to get the newest data). I have been able to successfully do this and receive the report when I run call the trigger through the cmd window. What I find happening is I'll call the trigger and it'll successfully fire. I'll then call it again shortly after and it'll fail. It doesn't seem to have a pattern of when it'll succeed and fail.

The error I receive when it fails is as follows:
"Note that if a schedule was not triggered, it may be because the current user does not have sufficient permissions to access the schedule. For more information see the Administration and Security Guide."

Has anyone encountered this before?

Something is different between the two times you fire the trigger.
