Title: Help me with ideas to address a challenging report
Post by: qvixote on 10 Jan 2019 02:38:49 PM
Hello!

I hope you don't think the tittle was a click-bait if you think the report is not challenging enough  ;D

I need to make a report like the image above, over a Transformer PowerCube. The cube already has the following (names are in spanish, but I think it doesn't prevent understanding the problem):

DIMENTIONS:
- Nombre de vacuna
- Dosis
- Grupo de Edad
- Month

MEASURES:
- Vacunas administradas
- Población

Need to accomplish the following:

I'll post the results of my attempts soon.

It's also possible to send someone the powercube.

You would get a much better response and support if you try to do a similar report using a Cognos Sample PowerCube.

Believe when I say I did think of that, but I don't have the samples installed and installing it is not an option. I'm trying to find an MV with the samples I think I have.

But I can share the powercube file, you can download it here: https://www.juanilabaca.cl/dl/dbvp_cobertura_2017.mdc (https://www.juanilabaca.cl/dl/dbvp_cobertura_2017.mdc).

I assume you know how to use dimensional functions.
You would have to play with filter one.
If you need exact expression then I think you should build your report against Cognos sample cube rather then ask everyone to configure your cube :-)

I think the same  :-[

Tomorrow I will have a MV with cognos and samples, and I'll do it that way, then make a new post.

Thanks!  ;)
