Title: IBM Think 2019
Post by: oscarca on 12 Dec 2018 02:27:39 AM
Is anyone here planning to attend the IBM Think conference in San Francisco this upcoming febuary ? and if so what are the sessions or seminars regarding Cognos Analytics that people will be interested in ?

I assume that there will be a lot of focus of the AI functionalities in Cognos 1.1 and maybe talking more about integrating Watson into Cognos Analytics. I would like to see and learn more about custom controls javascript, geomapping and dashboarding. I believe that the dashboard functionality has been quite limited in previous versions of cognos and hope to see what version 1.1 has to offer.

There is another similar topic in the General Discussion and Gossip Board: https://www.cognoise.com/index.php/topic,35158.0.html

Paul offered some good suggestions based on his experience last year. Jury is still out for me but not certain yet on whether I'll attend or not.
