Title: Cognos BI Server unreachable

I am using Cognos 11 and I have configured BI Server URL for mobile under administrator. then i have downloaded the IBM Cognos mobile android then when I try to connect from the mobile I always come across the 'server is unreachable' error.

then i have googled it I got to know the Android app will use the fully qualified URL instead of protocol://computername: port/bi -> protocol://computername.domain.com/bi
to do that i have added my company domain as .xyz.com in Cognos application firewall. then change my gateway url which including the domain but no luck on this.


Could anyone please help on this correct me if am doing anything wrong?

Hi,

Cognos Mobile was needed for Cognos 10. Since Cognos 11 is using HTML 5 there is no reason to still use it since you can just use your Android or IOS browser so log into Cognos.
