Hi All,

I wonder has anyone out there applied security against cubes in C8. More specifically I am looking for a steer on how to replicate the functionality of cube views in C8. I havenâ€™t actually tried anything yet, things are at the concept phase.

Works great.

The key thing is that in versions <=8.2, you will need to be using the same series 7 namespace for both S7 and C8.

In 8.3, you can leverage other security providers.

if u apply Data level security for cubes ...with help of Access manager only u can achive Data level security in C8.

We had done an excersize with out using access manager appluing data level security in cubes...by using cube groups property in Power Play transformer....
