We have a List Report with its Query formed from a UNION. The UNION works w/ 2 queries
resulting from a Data Module using Cognos data, and non-Cognos data from an Excel file.
To simplify, we have four (4) Business entities ...
1 - AAA
2 - BBB
3 - CCC
4 - DDD
All four Business entities appear in the List.
We would like to have 2 Pages in the Report that would
utilize the UNION Query source, but on one page the
Business entities would be only...
1 - AAA
2 - BBB
3 - CCC
On the 2nd Page, the only Business entities reported would be ...
1 - DDD
Was hoping, within the List, could Filter for these Business entities,
but unable to Find, or enter, any of those four.
We could modify the existing Data Module resulting in Business entities ...
1 - AAA
2 - BBB
3 - CCC
... and add another Data Module filtering for only Business entity ...
1 - DDD

Wound up building a 2nd Union Query from the existing Data Module.
Each of the two Union Queries filters on the needed Business entit(-ies).
Report now has 2 Pages w/ a List on each Page.
Would still like to know if possible to utilize only ONE Union
Query, and Filter in each of the two Lists.
All is fine.
