I'm having a spot of bother finding a definitive answer to this question.
In Cognos Analytics v11.0.11 can I use Java Script in "HTML Items" if I set "Interactivity mode" to "No"?
Currently, I can't get anything to work.
It's not giving me an error, it's just not working.
It's just a simple piece of code for changing a block display type from "inline" to "none".
I think the answer might be that After 11.0.?? all JavaScript needs to be in a "Custom Control".
If you know the answer I'd appreciate it.

Hi,
I'm not a JavaScript expert, but my understanding is that any supported code that worked in Cognos 10.2.2 will also work in Cognos Analytics when you have the Interactivity Mode set to No.
Cheers!

Hi Robl,
We are using java script in our report but to make it work in cognos 11 please follow the suggestion given by MFGF above.Change interactivity property of the report to None.
