Title: Filter active report data deck when not variable selected
Post by: Seveman on 05 Jul 2018 12:29:03 PM
HI,

I'm trying to find out how to use a datadeck that will be filtered (or selected however you like:)) based on seveal possible checkbox values but I want to show something different when no checkbox is selected. For example, I have a checkbox that allows selecting Europe, Asia and America and I want to show a list when one of the 3 ise selected and a different one when none is selected. I'm having a hard time doing this with a data deck.
Any clues?

Thanks in advance

What about the Show Default Card option at the data deck property level? This is the card to display when no other card matches the variables. You can put anything on that card.

Yep, I concur with this 100%. As Shelby345 suggests, the simple solution for this is to enable the Default Card for your data deck (you can do this in the properties of the data deck). This card will be displayed when none of the variables the data deck listens to are set. You can add whatever specific content you like to this card so it shows whatever you need it to.

Cheers!
