Title: Watch rules and alerts logging

Hi,
Can anyone inform me of if, and where, any logging occurs when watch items and the associated rules are triggered?  Client has upgraded to 10.2.2 fp9 and their existing watch rules no longer work.  They have even written a new rule which fails too.
Any advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
