We are using Cognos Analytics Active Report and there is a requirement from Client to Burst those reports.
We have Location Hierarchy (starting from Region, Market, District, Store and Employee) as Crosstab rows in Active Report. Now, we need to burst this active report to individual employees at Store Level.
Employee table has Employee Name (which we are using in Crossatab) and respective Email ids available as columns but Email ID column in not a part of the report.

So, my questions are:
- Is it possible to Burst the Active reports:
- How we can burst Store level reports to individual employees associated with respective Store?
- What steps we have to follow if we need to achieve this functionality?

Hi,
1. Yes - you can burst an active report in exactly the same way as a "normal" report.
2. You will need a query that associates stores and email addresses - this will be used as the burst key.
3. It's exactly the same as if you were bursting an HTML report.
