Post by: cognos05 on 06 Mar 2018 11:44:34 AM
Hi,

I wanted to show the a barchart with 3 bars , one showing sales of current year , other showing sales of prior year and other showing the percentage change in sales .
Now ,

I have my product teams in Categories section
I have my measures as Sales
In the series ,
I am showing prior year and current year .

How do I do my percentage change .

I added 3 calculated measure in series , with current year ,prior year and growth .

since the Y axis is having different axis value based on sales and percentage , I am getting the below report - attached .

All I want is just show the growth percentage along with sales in positive or negative with other bars .

Should i use a different chart  or how do I achieve some thing like the report attached as in the expected image .

I am not sure how to link a bar chart with those circles in aligned .

Should I have table with 6 rows and 2 columns for each product . Any suggestions on how to achieve this is appreciated .

Hi Pratap ,

Thank you so much for taking time to get this done .I really appreciate your help with this . The chart looks awesome . I wish I could replicate the same with my model .

Did you achieve this using report studio or you used dahboards .
And which package you built this one so that I can import the xml .

Thanks

Hi,

This is one of the sample reports that IBM ship. It's based on the GO data warehouse (analysis) package.

Hi Nithya,

As MF said it's Sample Report(Standard Reports) and the Package GO Data Warehouse(Analysis).
