Title: Sticking of Explorer vertical bar in RS
Post by: sunily on 14 Feb 2018 10:17:56 AM
Hi,

Is it possible to stick explorer page, which include page, query and condition explorer?

I am asking this because I have to write multiple queries and test them using view tabular data before I design a page. Sometimes it require multiple switches and it become page to over mouse everytime on page and query explorer.

Also when we are inside a query, is there any shortcut to view tabular data of it, instead of going up where we can see all queries and right click then click view tabular data.

I suspect a mix of both. There's no way I know of to make the explorer panes stay visible, and I guess the lack of responses means nobody else has tried or nobody knows how...

MF.

I haven't tried, but then I've never found it to be an issue either.

There is an option to view tabular data in the Run menu. Click on any item in your query and then choose Run > View Tabular Data.

You can also click on the white space between the explorer bar and the Data Items pane to jump directly to the Query level (rather than using ancestry in the properties pane).
