Hi Team,
We have a requirement with our organization where I need to use 2 app servers, 1 CM server both of which will be on linux and gateway should be on windows machine. Using this we'll have to connect to a sharepoint application on which we need to publish reports and dashboards which is on public IP at client location.
Can you please put some light as to if this is feasible as it's a cross platform architecture?
Cheers,
PK

Yes it's entirely feasible to have the architecture split over servers running different OSs. Have you considered how you are going to publish your reports into SharePoint? iFrame? Have you considered the license implications of allowing access to CA from a client location? Are you using a named-user licensing model or a pvu licensing model?
MF.
Hi MF,
Thanks a lot for details. We haven't yet decided on those approaches. As per my understanding, we'll go with iFrame approach for report publication and in case of licensing model, we're still not made a choice. We don't have full details as to how many users will use it. Depending on that we are going to decide.
Thanks,
PK
