Title: In_memory or Aggregate Tables
Post by: fry on 17 Jan 2018 01:54:08 PM
Good Day

Is there any possibility of creating In-Memory Aggregates or Aggregate tables to speed up virtual cubes.

Since virtual cubes is such a key feature, I am struggling to understand how there is not way of optimizing them using the aggregate advisor ?

Thanks

Hi,

The trick is to run aggregate advisor against the real cubes that constitute the virtual cube.

Page 351 of the Dynamic Cubes Redbook details this:

Cheers!
