Title: Audit Reporting - extracting the name of a model
Post by: ChrisP67 on 04 Jan 2018 07:27:59 AM
Hi,
I would like to extract and use in a report the name of the model (FM, PowerCube etc) for each report listed in the Audit table COGIPF_RUNREPORT, and I see that there is a column for this called COGIPF_MODEL, but it has the same values as column COGIPF_PACKAGE, which seems odd.
Is there something that has to be configured in Cognos Analytics for the COGIPF_MODEL column to hold information about models.

Hi,

A report is based on a package which is published to the content store, but there is no link held beyond this to the FM model the package was published from. If you're looking for the name of the FM model to be in the Audit database, it's not there, unfortunately.

Cheers!

MF.
