Title: Cross tab report
Post by: Vaib on 19 Dec 2017 04:52:22 AM
I am trying to make a cross tab report in which I needed top 10 values(at the intersection). After putting the summary filter for top 10, I now need sum of all the items including top 10.

I am unable to get the total since I've already applied a filter. I tried adding a data item and writing the query in it and changing its aggregation type to total, tried using a reference query. It still doesn't work. Any ideas that I can try???

Not sure I understand how you are running Totals.

We run Totals, in a Totals Row, and set ...
Detail Aggregation MUST be "Not Applicable"
Summary Aggregation MUST be "Calculated"

Let us know if that helps, Bob

Add a list table just below the cross tab (align it properly).
You can then unlock the list and add the "Value" in list. This will aggregate to the total of that measure and give in one cell.

Hope this helps!

Check the 'Automatically group and summary behavior for List.
