Hi -
Simple problem, perhaps one can help. Our organization has a group maintained by the active directory team. That group has been granted access to the Consumer Cognos group. This has worked out well, but we're now seeing a need to remove access to a few people from time to time. Normally we would just go back to the active dir team that maintains the group and have this done for us, but this takes time--sometimes we need to be more nimble.
Thus the question i pose to the community is this: is there a way to explicitly deny a user that has inherent access to Cognos because he/she belongs to a group that has been given wholesale access?
Any thoughts? Much appreciated. Thanks!
Hi,
You can add these members at the public folders level and deny all the access. Or add this members in a group at public folders level and then deny every access.
Good luck
