I'm having performance problems with the multi-select search & select prompts being very slow to search. The prompts have their own simple select query with a relatively small number of rows (ie. 800). It's currently taking roughly 1 min to for the search to give results which seems unreasonable. I've been playing with the processing properties of the queries which haven't shown much improvement.
When I set the report properties Run with Full Interactivity as No, the search prompts provide results under 4 seconds. But since I have a few of these prompts, moving between the prompts, it refreshes the report page when you click Search. I'd rather not have this setting turned off as the look isn't as appealing and the page refreshing before the users are done inputting values.
Currently, on Cognos Analytics 11.0.7.
Any ideas on possibly speeding up the searching on the prompts?
