Hi. I have approx 17 years experience in the Cognos BI Suite (from Version 6 up through Cognos 10), but am new to TM1.
I am now sole developer support of a TM1 implementation. The contractor that was the TM1 expert and training me for the last 3 months is no longer with us.
I have been playing with the "Applications" in TM1 Architect to help simplfy a SUPER-USER's process for a Monthly Close. He will be responsible for deciding if a particular needs to be updated, and then running the TI Process. When I add a cube and TI processes to the Application folder, Make the Whole Application PUBLIC, then go onto the TM1 WEB for this instance -- I can see the Application. I can open the Application Folder and see the Cube that is there, a WORD doc that is there, but the TI Process is not showing up. It is PUBLIC. I also cannot see any options for Workflow capabilities.
Any clues/advice/etc would be greatly appreciated

I'm sitting here with a colleague who is a TM1 expert he says:
- For Workflow you need to create an application using Performance Modeler, which is then accessed via TM1 Application Web.
- The TI process sounds like a security issue, so you need to check the }ProcessSecurity cube to see that there is no process security restriction. He also says to look under the Administration folder rather than the Applications folder. A workaround to this would be to put a button onto a TM1 web sheet to run the process, and that web sheet will be available within the Applications folder.
I'm just quoting him verbatim on this, so the above is just a jumble of words to me :)
Cheers!
MF.
Thanks. Gives a few things to look at. Unfortunately, we do not use Performance Modeler. But I will check the }ProcessSecurity cube.
There is no Administration Folder visible in the TM1 Web page
Well -- looked at }ProcessSecurity cube as well as "Security Assignments" of the application. ALL objects in Application have the same access defined. ** I AM THE ADMIN *** and even I cannot see the processes or chores in TM1 WEB. Only the Cube and the WORD doc (outlines Monthly Process).
Any place else to look ? TIA
Hi Donap
You can see the TI process in the "Administration" folder, but you won't see them in the "Application" folders, from memory.
Add the processes to a websheet through action buttons, and publish that.
