I'm just wondering how others have setup their directory structure when it comes to building cubes in C8. We're in the process of migrating our S7 environment to C8 (v8.3). My existing environment has a directory where cubes are built to, and then another that stores the current production version. I assume this will continue to work with C8, but, will be a little bit more complicated because I'd have to use cubeswap, rather then just turning the cube off and then updating the .mdc's. Is there a better, more efficient way of setting your directory structure?
Cubeswap used to be in versions till 8.2. I believe 8.3 introduces a new utility called PCONNUtility that allows you to turn off the datasource to update the .mdc, much like Series 7.
However, I'm not a 100% sure about it...that's the impression I got from the changes document.
