Title: How to make map's focus
Post by: Eag. E on 23 Oct 2017 01:08:57 AM
Hi

I use (new) Map visualization in 11.0.7.
My data are all based on one city (such as New York), so I want to focus on New York only when open the Dashboard.

It seems like no way to configure this, once I open the Dashboard, a world map shows.

Hi,

The map will automatically focus in on a region if it knows it has data only from that region. My guess is that you have some data the map classes as being ambiguous?

Do you see a little yellow warning triangle in the top right corner of the map? If so, click on this and you will see the data the map can't resolve. It might just be that you need to add a country to remove the ambiguity?

Cheers!

yes you are right. issue has been fixed.
But it works only in 11.0.6, whereas in 11.0.7, it seems like a bug block the steps.

When searching MSR-VRF-1204, people talking about this problme in 11.0.7 only.

I would log this with IBM support if I was you.
