Title: Can we have Date Prompt in Cognos 11 Dashboard

Team,

I want to pick a Date (Like a Date prompt in Report Studio Report) and based on that Values shown in other widgets should be filtered. Please suggest!

Hi,

The best you can do is to drag the date item into the dashboard, and select the required date or dates from the list.

I tried this, but if we have more than 3000 items - the user is not happy with manually searching for the date / even scrolling for a particular date is a pain.

Release 7 has enhanced filtering capabilities for Dashboards.
