Hello,
I am trying to connect to Cognos Planning analytics (2.0) from Cognos Analytics (11.0.6)
I have installed both of them on my local machine and have installed sample TM1 datasource.
When I create a datasource it asks me to enter the
TM1 host: I am entering the machine name here
TM1 server port: I am confused here what should I enter?
I configured the tm1s.cfg file to enter a HTTPPortNumber as mentioned in the below-given article but this doesnt works, then I tried entering the "TM1 Admin host port number" from the server configuration "5495" and I was able to connect to one of the TM1 datasource. However, I am not sure if this is the correct way as I am not able to connect any other Tm1 datasource using this methodology am I missing anything here?

I had the same problem !.
You are correct the HTTPPortNumber is required but you also need to have the UseSSL setting configured as well.
