Title: deleting old namespace and adding new space
Post by: cognos05 on 01 Aug 2017 03:52:46 PM
Hi,

In my productionCOgnos 10.2  I have namespace name as hello and namespace id as hello1
now in dev i have installed cognos 11 with namespace as hello and namspaceid as hello2

now i am pointing my production content store in dev and i am getting an error already namespace name hello exist with hello2 id .

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21960984

now from the above post it says delete the namespace in dev in cognos configuration and then login as admin and delete the users and reconfigure the new namespace .

but once I delete the namespace i am not able to login back to cognos , if i allow anonymous access as true then I dont see manage option to delete the existing users.

I dont see the login screen itself it goes to homepage .

Where do i set up an admin account , so that after deleting the name space and i relogin it shows me login page and I can use admin login .

Any help is appreciated .

Thanks,

so step 1 tried :

Removed the old namespace from cognos configuration and restarted the cognos service .

tried to login ,
got this error .
AAA-AUT-0013 The user is already authenticated in all available namespaces.

going to try :

allow anonymous access : true , but this will not ask me to enter the credentitals or show me the login page, directly goes to cognos homepage and no access to manage tab.

what to do form here  to login using admin username and admin password .

Thanks,
