Hi,
It sounds like the new content store hasn't initialised properly. What database are you using? I'd trash it and try again...
MF.
so our production environment is in 10.2.2. version and uses sql data base for content store .
the back up of that data base is taken and restored in dev and that is now pointed to test the upgrade.
Any help on how to trouble shoot .
should i uninstall 11 and reinstall in dev and then again point to .
The error say some cam id .
Thanks,
so i see that in dev install the namespace configured was different from the production one .
Now how to delete the namespace ,renaming it to a different one throws error on restarting the service .
If i delete the namespace and login , i cannot see manage account .
please help on this
Nithya,
What namespace name are you referring to? Is this the Content Store Namespace within Cognos configuration?
If so, then this should not matter. As long as the connection points to the correct content store database, you should be fine.
Also, did you disable/ rename the earlier database (content store) in development environment?
One quick test to try would be - create a blank database (content store) and see if Cognos services restart with this blank CM. If so, then add the database to check further.
