Title: To Avoid Long Text in Header Causing Wide Excel 2007 Column A

In Cognos 10.2.2 Report Studio, you could add a Table of 4, or more, columns.

Then Table - Merge Cells.  Paste the long text (Unlock - Lock) in that table
thus avoiding a very wide Column A.

We have upgraded to Cognos 11 Analytics.  No Menu to see if Table - Merge
has an equivalent,  Checked properties, but didn't see anything to merge the
4, or more, table cells.

Can this be done in Cognos 11 Analytics?

Hi,
Select the cells that need to be merged and you will see an option to Merge. See the attached.
