Title: how to hide a column using box type = none and add crosstab space?
Post by: marzbuzz on 31 May 2017 04:48:09 PM
Hi all,

I need to hide a column using box type = none, however it misaligned the column header. I read the following post and it mentioned using crosstab space. However, I am not sure how to implement it. Attached please find the report.  I need to hide pricing model column. I added crosstab space at right and the column header is still misaligned.

Thanks,

Hi Marzbuzz,

Can you please follow the below steps and see if this works -

1)Select the crosstab corner and crosstab node member that you want to hide (in this case Pricing Model).
2)set BoxType to 'None'
3)Drag & Drop 'crosstab space with fact cells' twice before the misaligned 'Group Name'

Thanks
Raj

Raj,

Thanks for the idea of setting the crosstab corner box type to 'None'. It did the trick. I added crosstab spaces before the group name and it worked.

The only small drawback is that there are several crosstab spaces at top left corner now(looks like several crosstab corners).  I am not able to merge them. I changed the crosstab spaces border to none, set the left and right padding to 0px and changed background color to transparent. However, I still can see them.

Thanks,
