Can any one tell Differences between query studio and report studio
i have idea thatÃ, Query Studio is used for creating ad-hoc reports and Report Studio for creating complex reports.
what the exact meaning forÃ, "ad-hoc reports" ?
Is there any other differences...? please clarify my doubt.
QS is for users who want to look in some data without having any knowledge of report building..
QS is a drag and drop query tool which can be used for users who want to look up ad-hoc information...
Thank you

Ad Hoc reporting meams creating reports on the fly, a report that is specific to the requirement at that particular time, a report that is not pre-made, a report that pulls data on-line depending on what is required at that time. It had different meanings but the bottomline is that Ad Hoc report is basically a report that is created specific to the requirements when the requirement comes up.
Managed Reporting is reports that are either made, or the templates of which are pre-made and distributed to users in an organised manner.
I got what i want.
Thanks Cognostechie & addict .
