Hello my friends ,

Anyone has tested COGNOS 10 with azure connection?

I mean , i have migrated a datawarehouse into the cloud and i want to know if the connection to the cloud (azure or aws) is posible...

Anyone with a Cognos Project with the DW in the cloud?

Hi there !,
Not sure that Cognos 10.x will support this sort of connection, but Cognos Analytics R6 has new data source connectivity to azure. Hopefully this will help you with your project !.

I do not have personal experience with it, but as far as I understand Azure is just another SQL Server (might have to use JDBC though). Try setting it up like any SQL Server on JDBC, and give it the fully-qualified hostname of your SQL Server host (you can get this from your Azure portal).
