Title: COUNTING based on Certain Statuses and Timeline in Relational Model(Crosstab)
Post by: gosoccer on 05 May 2017 08:45:59 AM
Please HELP if you can.
I have a need to do the following. Basically Slice the Data at the Begining and End of the Month using a Crossbar for the Car Sold.

When a Car's Sold Date updated based on the different dates for selling the car, (Advertised, Found Buyer, Sold) we have different historical records for the same Car Sold based on a unique #.

A slice/calculation can be created to calculate the count based on the cases that comes in to the month and cases that leaves the month. For example, if a car was not sold at the beginning of the month and rolled into the new month, it needs to show not sold as a COUNT (1) for the new month.

Please see my attachment to explain further.

In relational, I'm trying to see how I can slice the data so it'll give me the counts based on the top edge and left edge shown as a part of the attachment.

Any help would be greatly appreciate it.  :) :)
