Title: Conditional Formatting over multiple columns with same logic
Post by: beav81psu on 02 May 2017 07:16:52 AM
I have a simple list report with percentage metrics and calculated quartiles. I am trying to use conditional formatting to shade the percentages based on the quartile values 1 is excellent 2 and 3 are average, 4 is bad.  I know how to use conditional formatting but I am wondering if I can use the same conditional format for all columns as I have about 15 different percentage columns over 3 different report tabs.

Region   Leads %   Contacts %
abc           25%    25%
def          50%          33%
ghi         25%         33%
jki          33%         50%
mno        33%       50%
pqr        100%         100%
stu        50%       25%
vwx       100%      100%

Region   Leads Quarter Contacts Quarter
abc            4                       4
def            2                       3
ghi            4                      3
jki            3                      2
mno            3                       2
pqr            1                     1
stu            2                     4
vwx            1                     1

Hi,
Create a conditional format like how you want with multiple conditions and you can use it on multiple list columns of multiple lists on the same report. Let us knoe if you still face any issue.
Good luck

This sounds like the Topic 'Conditional Style Based on Division Name' I posted on 29 March 2017.

I received a LOT of help there, and utilized Style Variables to get it to work.

beav81psu - check that Topic out and see if it helps.  If you have any questions, please
ask here.
