Hi everyone:

How can I add JDBC to the cognos administration datasource type ListBox, I have copy the jdbc driver to the required folder ,my enviroment is red hat linux 5.6+ cognos 10.1.1, Thank you!

What version of Cognos are you using? Have you scrolled down in the list?

hi MF:

My cognos is 10.1.1 version, it didn't have jdbc select item.

Hello,

Please use Configure JDBC Connection check and select Type as ODBC while configure Data Source Connections. While testing ODBC will fail but JDBC works fine.
This is the workaround for JDBC connection as of now I believe for 10.1.1. In 10.2.2, They have added JDBC into Type.
