have you installed the ms soap toolkit? I received the same error in 7.3mr2 it was solved when the soap toolkit was installed on the server.

I've seen a lot of SOAP Error Messages in EP 8.2. Can you post a screenshot.

"Change Data Execution Prevention (DEP) from the default to 'Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services' and reboot webserver."   ;)

I never had problems with the DEP in EP 8.2 in any environment. Did they explain if it's a client or a server problem?
I had a probem with CAC on W2K3. I changed to XP and it worked.

DEP is Data Execution Prevention, and is a feature of the OS, not Internet Explorer.  DEP problems are not consistent as failures depend on how the data and model are loaded into memory and what executes (some instructions in the right location in RAM will trigger it, but it's specific).  Turning off DEP eliminates those sporadic errors.  (You can't recreate the errors on demand.)
