Title: pdf on 1 landscape page
Post by: DragonLady on 03 Apr 2017 01:31:52 PM
I've got a 2x2 that I've copied onto a blank page and removed the allow, looked at run options, other options but can't get it into landscape on one pdf page.  Portrait works.  How do I get landscape to work?

You'll need to use File - PDF Page Setup in RS, choose Paper Size (Custom), and specify the Width & Height.

I'm in Yurp, so my landscape is A4, H:21,7 cm, W:29cm. Make the necessary adjustments for your part of the world.

If your report page doesn't fit in a single output page, increase these values progressively, whilst still retaining the same proportions, until it does fit. Yes, it's a bit of a trial and error method (unless somebody knows better). As an example, for two oversized landscape reports I recently used these values:

H:27,4 & W:38,7
H:32,3 & W:45,7

The menubar doesn't exist in Cognos Analytics authoring - the option above is now in the properties pane when the page is selected. Same process, just a different place to find it :)
