Could anyone please tell me what is IBM Cognos Customer Analytics ? Is it new Cognos tool and how different is it with respect to Cognos BI.I am sorry I have last worked on Cognos 8.4 ,It is all looking new for me now.Thanks for your help.

It's nothing to do with Cognos at all. It's an IBM solution blending together Tealeaf, Coremetrics, SPSS PCI and Watson Analytics...

Not exactly correct. This is a problem that has existed for a while. "Cognos" is a brand name, not a specific product. "Cognos Analytics" is a tool suite containing multiple software products.
IBM made this more confusing by extending the Cognos brand to include software tool that are completely unrelated to the products developed by the old company called Cognos which IBM bought in 2007. E.g. Cognos ICM, a product IBM got by buying a company called Varicent. This is a tool for calculated compensation for sales people. The company Cognos itself had many toolsets that were unrelated, e.g. Cognos PowerHouse, an application development tool, vs Cognos BI, a business intelligence reporting suite of tools.
