How to import oracle stored procedures into cognos 8 framework manager?

Hi,

Either use the metadata import wizard, or else create a new query subject and specify the type as 'Stored Procedure'.

I would highly avoid using SP in Framework Manager - One reason is if the SP takes parameters, and in your report,if the report authors drags the output fields from the SPs, the reportstudio will prompt for the input parameters - which is a nightmare.

I would take the SP as the last option.
