Hi,
:)
Using a Relational Model, I have a list shown in the mockup attached and I'm trying to simply total row at the bottom that shows the totals for each columns of the list. Each data items in the list is calculated from the Framework Model under the Calculation option of the Subject Query. i.e.
Brend New Problem w BMW
If (View].[CAR_PROBLEM_TYPE] in_range {1:10}) THEN
(1)
ELSE
(0)
Same way for other 8 Columns.
So, the counts shows well as a part of the List when I drop each items as a part of the list but when I need to Total each Column, I'm not getting the right Totals at the Bottom for each of the 8 columns.
I'm not having much of success.
What is the most appropriate way of doing this, since I selected the the Column and selected the Total option
from the Summary menu on top but the totals are not adding up correctly.
Please help if you can since it's due tomorrow.
Thanks so much for your time.
What are the aggregate, and rollup aggregate property on the data items?
Hi there,
Well, I just checked and some of the Framework Model Subject Query items were set to Intel 32 Type and the columns that actually was adding up the columns were not set to anything. I redo the Subject Query Data items and Re-published. I'm checking it now. Back in five minutes to answer you questions. Thx so much
OK, it seems like it's happening as soon as I drop one of the 9 columns as far the Totals at the bottom not showing correctly.
To answer your question:
Each Columns is setup to Automatic for both Aggregate and Roll up Aggregate Function. The Total for each column is setup to
Aggregate method: Total for that Data Item.
Thanks for your time :) :)
OK, Got it!! :D :D
That one column was coming from a different Subject Q and the Relationship (Join) wasn't correct so the MEASURE/Calculation was going crazy.
I think I'm good now.
It was great to see somebody else could help!!
Thanks so much. You brought good luck!! :) :)
