Title: Field Identifying in cognos package

Hello Friends..

Can we identify if a field in a package is being used on a report.Please share your thoughts at your earliest convenience.

You can manually search for the fully qualified name of the data item in the XML of the reports in the content store, but much better to investigate Meta Manger (http://www.bspsoftware.com/products/metamanager/)

You can also do a search in Framework Manager, if you have access to that.

Although I am sure Meta Manager does a much better job.  ;)
