I am using Cognos 10.2 and I'm having trouble filtering the time associated with my date prompt. I want to average the data for the date range picked on the prompt page from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM. This is what I have so far:
[History Version].[History Version].[Date/Time]between ?StartDate? and ?EndDate?
When I try to enter the time range I get an error. Can anyone help with this?
Thanks

Ummmmmmmmm.... Ahhhhhhhhhhh...... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm....
Nope. It's not working. My clairvoyance hat isn't giving me any success today, no matter how hard I try to focus my mind.
Sadly we're going to have to do this the good old-fashioned way. You're going to have to tell us what the error message is, as the hat is stubbornly refusing to work.

sg@sfwater, when you get errors like that you need to have your admin check the cognos log, which will undoubtedly contain more information.

sg@sfwater, when you get errors like that you need to have your admin check the cognos log, which will undoubtedly contain more information.
And if your admin is feeling lazy, he/she can grant you the "Detailed Errors" capability.
Then you get the actual error message instead of "...Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by..."
Saves time...
