Hi all cognos guru,

I have a requirement from my client to create an automatic looping dashboard to present 4 chart in their LCD Screen. The report must have a button prompt (city name) to control 3 other reports (please see in attachment) and the report must have the capability to automatic change to show each button prompt data.

Can i build this requirement using cognos BI 10.2.2?

It's difficult to say for certain, but what you're describing sounds a lot like a dashboard with a portal/widget to control the filter data, and channels to the three charts on the dashboard. When the data is selected in the control widget (I would suggest a radion group) it should then rerun the reports in the rest of the dashboard.

Yes Iwant to create a dashboard that will be putted on the big LCD screen.

Can you give me a simple sample dahsboard?

Hello,

for the controll button you can use 'Cognos Paul JS'. and for the 'Chart' you can use 'conditional block'.
