Title: How to combine two Natural Keys in one
Post by: Enrique on 25 Oct 2016 07:09:29 AM
Hi guys!!

I have been asked to select two Natural Keys in one dimension from a MDR,

and because I know is only possible to select one I would like to ask if there´s a possibility of combine two in one.

The table´s name is "Oraganisation", the columns are: "org_id", "is_current", "valid_from", "replaced_on", "name", "country"

The Natural keys should be the combination of  "name" and "country".

It´s that possible ??

Thanks in Advance , Enrique

MDR meaning DMR?

I normally define surrogate keys in a data warehouse. It makes a lot of things a lot easier.
