Hi there,
I have 2 questions -
1) How do I create a Progressive chart 3 Dimensional (For example - Date, Product and Values)
2) If I have to create a progressive chart without using the 'Progressive Chart', How do I construct it
Appreciate your help in advance
Thanks..FP
What version of Cognos are you using?

There is a progressive 3-D chart in the toolbox. You can put in a measure as the default measure and then (presumably) a date in for the categories. This will create a bar for each date based on the measure you've provided plus a bar to represent the total. If you want to break this out into separate charts by product then include product as the series.
I don't really understand question 2. Is there a reason you wouldn't use the progressive chart? There is also a Waterfall visualization which is the same concept as a progressive chart so you could use that if you have it loaded in your environment.
Thanks Lynn, Appreciate your help. Question #2 can be ignored. It's very tricky to get that working
Related to your comments for Question #1 - This will create multiple chart. I want to create a 3D chart similar to what is there in Chart - Advanced -> 3D Axis column.
