Dear All,

Currently my Operating System is Windows 2003 my Organization is planning to upgrade the Operating System to Windows 2012.

I have 1 application running with Cognos 8.3 Enterprise Planning. Will the application run on Windows 2012 AS IS after upgrading the OS?

If not please help me by providing possible ways of doing it.

My suggestion-
Check out Part 3, Chapter 6:

Backup the files, libraries, CS, DB before mirgrating.

Upgrade to minimum 10.1.1 FP3 to work with WIN 2012 OS

Then upgrade to 10.2 and test.

Not easy- very doable, walked through many in support.
