I have a report on the prod server which throws immediately error when I try to run the report RSV-BBP-0028 the secondary request failed.
However the same report version exists on dev test environments where it runs successfully without any error. What may be the cause ?

Does your report contain any javascript?

I am not sure about this. I am from server support. I will check with developers. Does that make any difference ?

Actually same version of the report is running in test and UAT. So I think it might not be java script problem.
I will check with dev team as well on the java script.

No report does not have java script.. Does any one have idea why this might be causing issue only on prod server ? We have same report on all environments but its running fine everywhere. :(

Authentication also cause such error. Can you please verify which Namespace Authentication are you using into cognos and login account that you have is part of it or not!

I have a report built in 10.2.2 and used in a workspace. There is no javascript in the report. In 10.2.2 it was working fine. But when we migrated it to v11.0.6, I am getting the 'secondary request failed' error.
Any help is appreciated.

You can try truncate cmcapacity table and restart cognos service. This might help.
Also, Please remove content from temp folder before you restart cognos service.
