I have an issue in Cognos 10.2, i am doing drill through from master to detail report and when i click on a cell in master report it prompts me an another parameter as there is multiple values is passing from master to detail report, and in another cell it gives me detail report as there is single value passing from master to detail.
Would any body help me on this, how can i resolve this issue?

just check if there are two drill through definitions in the master report ? also what are the different required parameters in detail report

In drill through definition there is a collection 3 filters in master report for the particular Crosstab Intersection cell and same filters i have used in detail report.
for good understanding:
Ex 1: I have a data item exclude two members called 'Contracts' (Lot of members) and i am displaying 'Quantity' for the same.
Ex 2: I have a data item 'CallOffs' (only one member) and i am displaying 'Quantity' for the same.
from the above i used drill through definition with collection of 3 filters in both examples, my drill through is working on Ex 2 but not not on Ex 1 (In Ex 1 it prompts me the same filter)

not sure but are you using same detail report for both drill through link ??
Really sorry for the confusion.
Let me ask in the question in different way
Is it need full to keep the same number of filters in both source and target reports?
In my case, i have 3 filters in source report and i have 4 filters in my target report (3 filters re same) and when i do drill thru it is prompting the 4th filter.
Note: Actually i need 7 filters in my target report as i need to filter more data from source report and the data which i need is exists in soruce report cross tab.
i think now it's clear now. and please do let me know if required further.

If I follow you correctly, I think you can get what you want if you make the filters in the target report optional (it's a filter property).
